There is a fenced in garden on the corner of Wylie and 13th. It has painted pics of vegetables hanging on the fence. Is it a community garden? Do you know anything about it?

It is a community garden. Some residents of Wylie Street generally tend to it. They do not own the land, but they have the permission of the owner.

Does anyone know who to talk to about getting a plot in the Wylie Street garden? I live in the neighborhood and have been unable to find a place to garden. I noticed there is a lot of room, but no contact information.

There is woman named Maria on Wylie who is the contact. I don't know if they do strictly assigned plots or not.

This blog is mind blowing. I have to admit at first I thought it didn't have anything interesting to offer, but after read some posts my opinion changed radically.
