The article that "JBG Rosenfeld Retail is planning Capitol Square at Third and H streets."

Any word on what this is all about? Is it separate from the Abdo/Children's Museum development? Is this the long-rumored Harris Teeter?

That's also the first mention I have heard of Arboretum Place in about 2 years. Does anyone know if the project is still a go? Timeline?

The
DC Housing Pipeline Report
(4th Quarter '04) listed the construction start date as 15-Sep-04. Since then, I haven't heard a thing on the project.

Back in February 2006, the Stewart Investment Company presented their plan for the old BP site at 3rd and H (ground breaking was said to be be fall 2007). This project would possibly include a grocery store like Harris Teeter.

Across H street is to be developed by Dreyfus I believe (the same company that did Station Place). Maybe JBG Rosenfeld Retail is working with Dreyfus on this?

It's likely the wrong address. JBG's materials state the address for Capit_a_l Square is 1st and M Streets NE.

2. re Clark Realty, my understanding is that they are not likely to develop the site for 3-5 years, as they queried a group I know wrt whether or not they'd be interested in using the site for an interim use.
