This weekend rundown was really helpful. Thanks.

Looking ahead, the Post has this itty-bitty mention today on page C8 --

Checking Into the Rock Hotel -- We were uncontrollably giddy just to tell you that a spankin'-new music venue, at the Rock & Roll Hotel, is poised to open in a mere six days (although we're a little put off by the themed, Disney-World-for-adults bar trend of late). And then we discovered that the very first show will include our current favorite noise band, Owls and Crows. Wooly Mammoth headlines. We're betting it's going to be one rocking opening bash. $8. Thursday, doors at 8 p.m. 1353 H St. NE. http://www.rockandrollhoteldc.com .
