Celebrate Father's Day @the Atlas

H Street Main Street invites you to attend a Father's Day " Metro Youth Showcase" 7 PM, June 10, 2007, at the Atlas Performing Arts Center in the 256 seat Lang Theater, 1333 H Street, NE, DC. We will be entertained by great young talents from our community. You will be amazed. Tickets are affordable $20 for adults and $12 for children 12 & under. Please read the attachments for further information.
* Please make arrangements to purchase your tickets early, seating is limited.
* tickets available from the Atlas box office starting tomorrow night.
* Note: This event is June 10th - not on Father's Day
Performers will include Kush Abeday, (more here), Cartier A. Williams (more here), and Nu Era (a DC quintet of brothers).

This looks really interesting, but what is with the father's day thing?
Anyway, I hope that there is a good turn out for this, and Step Africa, which is next weekend at the Atlas.

according to wikipedia, it's father's day in austria and three other countries. haha.
