How will that work? I don't recall enough tvs for everyone to show up and watch their favorate team.

The bartenders at The Pug informed em that they too will be showing football on several TVs.

The Arg needs to get "rid" of them BIG RATS outside the front door...Damn things always seem ready to attack.

For everyone that has not been to the Argonaut in a while, they have 5 tv's downstairs, and 5 tv's upstairs. I don't know about the big rats, I go to the argo all the time and dont see them, they must like you!!

I have never seen rats near the Argonaut but I have seen cockroaches outisde. I have never seen one inside. (:

I was told once that the neigborhoods where there were more cockroaches likely had less garbage disposals. There might be something to that as my own neigborhood has had less street bugs as more and more houses are rennovated. Just a thought.

roaches and rats...it is a way of life. i live on capitol hill and i have roaches. my neighbor has roaches. if you live in the city and don't have roaches you just might not be looking hard enough :) ... row houses mean if the house 3 doors down has roaches chances are you have them too. i have no problem putting down combat every couple of months -- it's just part of living in the city!

Hill Roach,
might I suggest quarterly treatments? I used to use (and will call them again if I ever see another one) American Pest Control. http://www.pestcentral.com/

They do spiders, all kinds of insects & rodents too.

thanks for the tip, inked!

but we'll have to see if my landlord will actually spring for commercial treatment. i can barely get her to fix the ceiling that is caving in because my upstairs neighbor's toilet is leaking! tis the life is a lessor.

Vermin aside, did anyone actually go to the Argo on Sunday to watch football? I wonder what the viewing atmosphere and crowd at the Argonaut are like for football.

eh, whatever.
they missed the brasil vs usa game on the ninth of sept.

i think most american football fans have other places to go.

they need to define their niche.

i 'can't wait' to go and see hockey or ...um... bowling at the argonaut.

they really need to figure out their target market.

they have NO CLUE.

which is fine by me. it will continue to be a dump until they get their sh&t straight, and that means less crowds of friggin' knuckleheads.

but as a successfull business, ha, what a joke. it's a neighborhood bar that will be sold out within the next two years to someone that knows something about restaurant management/marketing. guaranteed.
