We had dinner at NAPA recently. It's a very pleasant place inside. Talk about walking through a space-time portal. As you walk through the door it's like, "Am I on Barracks Row?"
Anyway, they're really nice there, the food's good, but like some commenters in a previous post I have to say the prices will have to come down. My reasoning has nothing to do with where it's located...it's just that my pasta dish was not worth the price I paid. It would have had to have been eyes-roll-back-in-your-head-from-pleasure good to justify the price, but it was only just very tasty.
Nonetheless, it's great to have them here on H Street and I'm sure things like that will get ironed out.

Napa's portions are huge! Maybe they can cut costs by serving smaller portions. The steak that they served on opening night would have cost around $25 for a raw one at Eastern market.

These folks can do some really nice things with veggies too.

Still no website / online menu for NAPA 1015? Websites and online menus have become a must for restaurants. If you expect to lure preople to a new place in a location not previously known for dining you need to have a website with an online menu.

Hillman,
I'm one of the bartenders at NAPA and i spoke to the manager about a website. Not to worry, it's on its way.

Until then, swing on by for a glass of wine to look over the menu and try some food. Were lookin forward to meeting all of our neighbors.

We also went to Napa about a week ago. Unfortunately our group was about the only one in the restaurant so I hope business will pick up.

The food was great but I would suggest serving smaller portions at smaller prices. We'd become weekly regulars if the prices were a little lower (rather than every couple of months at those prices). They told us they plan to have a fixed price menu for theater goers that sounded pretty reasonable.

The restaurant also offers a Pre-Theater menu for $30.00 p.p for a three course meal from 5-7 pm.
