My grandparents used to go to Litteri's and now I go. It is so great- I love just about everything about it. Except for their wine selection. Just wish it was a little better. Years ago they used to have a wine buyer, but he passed away and they have never replaced him. I hope Litteri's can stick around for at least another generation.
I noticed a "Coming Soon" plug on the Heidi's Brooklyn Deli website. Looks like they're putting a store at 200 Florida Avenue NE. The H Street NW store serves some excellent sandwiches. Isn't the new locale where the Burger King used to be?
I think the 200 block of Florida is right before you hit the bridge. I've never had their food, but this location makes sense with the ATF stuff and the new hotel.
