A look at what's going on in Trinidad, on H Street, and in the larger area north of Capitol Hill.

Action in the 1400 Block of H

If you haven't strolled down the 1400 block of H Street recently you might have missed a couple of developments. First there is a clothing shop, that I believe was scheduled to open over the weekend. Across the street is a soon to open West African restaurant. I believe the name might be either Boku or Buko.

A little off the subject but does anyone know what the plan is for 401 H? I noticed there is a notice of a hearing before the ABC in their window.

It's south of H, but does anyone know what's slated to go into the old cleaners on the corner of 13th and North Carolina? It's right on the park -- would make an excellent cafe.
