Harvesting Friendships
Community Gathering & Potluck

Talking Points

• This event is sponsored by neighbors and friends residing in Ward 6 Northeast and hosted by Mount Olive Baptist Church at 1140 6th Street.

• The goals/objectives of the community gathering/potluck are to:
- Build a bridge between the surrounding community and established institutions
- Encourage dialogue (share stories, new ideas, find common ground) amongst neighbors
- Solicit community participation to build neighborly relationships

• This is not a religious event. It is a community building event.

• It is an opportunity for neighbors to come together in an informal setting to socialize, interact with invited public servants and business leaders, and honor many of the elders in the community.

• Everyone is invited, please spread the word!
