Reminder: ANC 5B08 Meeting Tonight
We'll be discussing the upcoming renewal of the class B [beer and wine] license at Mudrick's on Bladensburg Road. The meeting is at 7pm at Delta Towers [1400 Florida Ave].
So I guess it was unreasonable. Hmm. What next then regarding the ABC issue regarding Mudricks? It's seven days before a protest letter is due was one sent? I am not really trying to be caught up int he folly of 5B. Do I need to get a bunch of neighbors together. I mean it's my role yet, it seems again, that Casey has to step up to bat.

For those of us that couldn't make it, can minutes from this meeting be posted?
obviously the answer is: NO.
that's way too much to ask from .... little local "leaders".
Its not unreasonable to expect elected officials or community members to provide minutes.
There aren't any minutes from this meeting. We had very low attendance [it was cold] and the entire thing wrapped in about 20 minutes.

I'm following up with the Chair, who should have sent the letter today. We can put together a five person protest fast if need be.
I think that would be prudent. But we should also just talk to the business owners to create a win win thing.
