This is truly astoundingly good news. A late night eatery is one of the things you should have in an urban area. Sadly, in DC that's often sorely lacking, particularly on the Hill.

Taylor will be meeting a huge need.

Great news - but they NEED to get their menu online before this happens or they're going to frustrate a lot of folks looking to order late-night delivery.

Not saying they need an online ordering system...just a copy of the menu so people know what their options are when they call to order.

Mike - couldn't agree with you more. Online menu PLEASE!!

That said - I finally checked out Taylor last Friday night. It totally lived up to the hype. Awesome sandwiches, and yummy sides.

Totally agree about having the menu online.

It took some serious digging, but I found this online menu for them. Can't swear that it's current.

Also, menupages has a menu for them.

An online menu is really crucial. We have used that flicke menu quit a bit, but waiting for a picture to load, etc. is annoying. I would love an online menu - just a PDF file if nothing else - but a PRINTED menu handed out at the restaurant and/or passed out on the delivery route would be even better.

Chris:

Thanks for the menu link-- I have been pitching Taylor to my office as an option for catering. We often host large meetings/conferences where we serve lunch. My schedule prohibits me from swinging by during their hours of operation to pick up a paper copy. We are planning to use them for an event on Friday and I was at a loss for how to come up with a menu... good timing.

Kenny G (man, that's a tough nick to live with) -- keep in mind that menupages doesn't datestamp their menus. I don't know whether those prices are current. I suspect it's pretty close to current, though, because their original menus had french fries, which have since been taken off. The menupages menu doesn't have the fries listed.

Amen!!!

I'm sure you remember the days when your choices were between Danny's and Good Danny's on H St.

Bonus:
Word verification is "sales"

whoa mama!

good news!

i had one of their chicken sandwiches and it was delicious!

i've been steering people to that place ever since...i hope a lot of the bar traffic goes their way to get some of their liquor soaked up by inserting tasty sandwiches in their bellies. ha.

does palace of wonders serve food? maybe they should cross promote or something?
