“The power and undeniable cool of stepping” (Washington Post) returns to the Atlas Performing Arts Center as Step Afrika! celebrates its 15th Anniversary Home Performance Series May 27-31, 2009. Joined by guest artists Jason Nious (from Cirque du Soleil’s Ka in Las Vegas) and the W.E.S. Group (jazz quartet), Step Afrika! will present a range of works including “Trane”: the company’s critically acclaimed merger of stepping and live jazz music.
