Prince of Petworth has a post up indicating that a reader passed her conversation with the owner of this taqueria. The owner reportedly said that he was looking at opening an additional location on the H Street Corridor. Now THAT would be tasty.

As someone who was steeling himself to eat Mexican food surrounded by Coronoa-swilling Hill staffers playing minigolf, a straight up taqueria would be a godsend.

Just in the slim chance that the feedback here has any effect on the decision: I too would be thrilled to have a place like that with inexpensive, tasty food without gimmicks.

How about the Taqueria leases the ANM Space, gets popular and the ANM owners come back and turn the upstairs into an Ethiopian Restaurant and everyone wins?

Please, please? Years ago I begged the guys at Amsterdam Falafel to open up a H St location to no avail. Tacos would ease my pain.
