I received the following email about the Hilly Awards. Check it out.
The Hilly Awards nominations are still open until midnight on October 1. The awards include ALL Hill businesses (this includes our friends on H St!), and we want to get as many nominations in as possible before the deadline. To nominate your favorite business, you can go to www.champsdc.org. After we tally the nominations, there will be a voting period, with winners announced at the awards party in the North Hall at Eastern Market. (Sponsorship opportunities are also available.) Love it. But couldn't quite remember which businesses just opened in 2009. I don't suppose there's a list anywhere?
