NYP: 10 Reasons to Hit DC

IMG_5318
Sidamo Cafe...er, Coffee

The New York Post thinks H Street is one of ten great reasons for New Yorkers to visit DC this fall. Two small typos that jumped out at me:
1. Sidamo Coffee, not cafe (people do this all the time)
2. Palace of Wonders is located at 1210 H Street. I think 210 would put you somewhere in the middle of the Hopscotch Bridge.

And a reporter from NBC4 makes fun of the above mentioned piece, but then repeats the Sidamo Cafe mistake (see, ALL THE TIME!).

I thinks its nbc4.

Anyways, the NYP article is OK for that kind of light fluff reading, but the snippy NBC article is really silly sally.

does anyone who reads the NY Post ever leave NYC to come to DC? Probably not, unless it's to teabag Obama.

Actually, NYP didn't capitalize 'cafe', so it was a descriptive term, not a mistake on the name...

Tom don't be goofy. The NY post has a significantly higher readership than the NY times among those who actually live in NYC. Since more New Yorkers read the Post than the times, you must think the average NY resident is a racist for opposing Obama. Get your head out of the times, and the Washington Post and recognize that just because someone reads a paper you don't like, it does not mean they are ignorant back-wood people who do not travel.

Right. C'mon folks, we need to realize that just because the Washington Post is a right-wing neo-con rag, doesn't mean it's readers are barefoot hicks.

gotta love them ignorant southerners said...

what's wrong with right wing neocon folks? they keep law enforcement busy from consuming doughnuts, and that leaves more for me!

go rednecks!

its cool for dc hoods to be written about, but clearly those kinda articles are not written for those of us that hit the streets and know the neighbors.

if it spreads good vibes and interest,( evn if a bi tainted and sarcastic) its good by me.
