The exhibition highlights Thibodeaux's specialty: portraits. She paints her subjects from life using the "alla prima" technique, in which paint is applied directly to the canvas and worked wet in wet. "Portraits and Landscapes in Oil" features the recent works of this New Orleans native who has recently made Capitol Hill her home.
