I ate here last night and give it a BIG thumbs up. The Lebanese salad, hummus, and beef kebab platter were all delicious. The bastilla, though microwaved, was also very good. The decor and music warm up the space. It would be nice if they could find a way to shroud the kitchen and its bright white light from the dining area.

Awesome!! I'm so excited. I just posted a map and list of all the H street places that have opened or are in the works on my blog. DCRowhouse.blogspot.com! If anyone knows more info - let me know.

Anonymous 5:30: is this a different incident from the one that occurred at Unik Style on 10/14, which is still on the front page of Frozen Tropics (at the bottom)? Did they get hit a second time? Or could your date be off, and this is just the same incident?

I heard the police got one of the suspect for the robbery at gun point at unik style on october 14 they are very close in getting the other 3 masked men.

Why are we talking about the Unik story on the Souk link? Lets comment on the H Street establishment.

I agree....The food and prices are great. However, whats up with all the bright lights in the front of the house and the large Ikea chandaliers in the front window.

I actually like it just the way it is. Place is perfect. Reminds me of a lot of the small ethnic places you see in NYC. Just good food at a reasonable price. I'm down with them trying to look high end (e.g. new IKEA looking fixtures) without paying all the money to really look (and be) high end.

Souk team, don't change a thing!
