Curbside Cupcakes

DCBlogs picks up on the recent arrival of the of Curbside Cupcakes (the founder lives just south of H Street). What is it with cupcakes these days? The New York Times just ran the story The Latest Entrepreneurial Fantasy is Selling Cupcakes. And I recall this ABA gem from May: Law Grad Turns to Cupcake Truck as Economy Sputters.

Curbside Cupcakes sells individual cupcakes out of their truck, but will also deliver larger orders to your Capitol Hill or Downtown location. Check them out on Facebook.

Curbside Cupcakes is off to a great start on the streets of DC. They seem to be selling out by early afternoon each day!
H Street can be really proud of them because their very first appearance was at the H Street Festival. Even though their truck wasn't ready, they had their licensing and were ready to go. We encouraged them to come out and give us a preview of their terrific goodies, and they sold out well before the end of the day!

Follow them on twitter http://twitter.com/CurbsideCupcake to check when they're near your office during the day.
Another great local business!

their delivery area stops right at the Trinidad line. WTF? Too good for Trinidad? I'm not having any cupcakes just for that

I used them for a work function and not only were the cupcakes fantastic, their customer service was outstanding.
