It's Not Grandma's Bingo, Loteria de Amor at Palace

Palace of Wonders is hosting a really cool event this Wednesday where for $10 you can play Mexican bingo (loteria) and take in some live entertainment. The 54 pictures used instead of traditional bingo numbers have been created by local artists. Those who identify themselves (you'll be asked at the door) as being in the mercado for amor may win a date prize, or get fixed up with another audience member. Those not in the market can compete for other prizes.

In between rounds a variety of burlesque and vaudeville stars will perform shows based on the loteria images. Oh, and there's also an art show because apparently they didn't have enough going on that night. Doors at 6:00 PM, pre-Show with Lucha Liberace 8:30pm, Show 9pm. 1210 H Street.
