We're a tad slanted towards pie news this week, but that's to be expected with the launch of Dangerously Delicious Pies' DC Pie Truck. I have one friend in particular who always grouses that he's too broke to pay for a slice. So, here's a deal even he can't complain about. It's the date night special (available Monday-Wednesday 5pm-close) where you can get two slices of sweet pie, two slices of savory, and two drinks, for $20. That's a $27 value even before you get to the drinks.
Oh, and did you know that you can always add things to your pie? A side salad of mixed greens for $2, a scoop of ice cream for $1, or whipped cream for free. I recall that someone once missed a glass of milk while eating his pie. Don't be that guy. Order a shot of milk for 50 cents.
