HSGS: CHAMPS Buy Local
H Street Great Street has info about how you can support local businesses, and save money at the same time. The benefits of joining the Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce in its Buy Local campaign are pretty damn good when you look at these discounts (10-20% off at some local bars and restaurants, plus deals on local services).

This is a great promotion and I'm looking forward to supporting the effort.
However, with that said, the Bikram Yoga discount does stand out: "Free Water Wednesdays! Show your membership card on Wednesdays; receive free water!" Really? Free water in a hot yoga class? Most gyms have, you know, free water fountains.
But big ups to the other participants. There are some terrific bargains on here.
As a frequenter of CH Bikram Yoga, I can assure that water is NECESSARY during class. You can't just get up and leave the class to get it. I'd love a free smartwater for class.
I understand that water is necessary in a hot yoga class. But when they're charging $16+/ per class, they could have a (free) water fountain.
