BALL DROP Burlesque and Variety Blowout Bash features bodacious burlesque babes, death-defying novelty acts, twisted sideshow oddities, quirky musical surprises, go-go dancing, and an all-night dance party! Starring Miss Astrid, your Master of Ceremony for the evening's debauchery; tap-dancing tornado Helen Pontani of The Pontani Sisters; "burlesque expert" (NY1) and "big bad bold drag queen" (Bust Magazine) Dr. Lucky; award-winning pop sensation Pop of Gigi and Pop on ukulele; sideshow freakery from Swami Yomahmi of the Cheekee Monkey Sideshow, the chronically cute Li'l Dutch of Dutch Oven Burlesque; circus artistry from Miss Joule of Tilted Torch; the hypnotizing modern tribal bellydancing of Naimah of Art of the Belly, and the neo-burlesque stylings of BB Heart, "New York City's Ambassador of Burlesque, 2010."
