Thieves Strike Ethiopic!

Some jerk decided to run off with the (securely locked up) outdoor furniture from Ethiopic. 'Tis the season, I guess. Stop by for a bite and expression of condolences. Berber does wonders against an icy wind.

The space is to the right (on the corner). I'm told they stole the outdoor furniture. I have seen chairs locked up outside. I assume the thieves took the chairs.

Ethiopic is not a Marlo's.

I'd put money on the table and chair sets ending up at the Florida Ave swap meet/ flea market or whatever it is...

"Securely locked up"

Translation: takes 5 minutes to steal versus 2 minutes.

Someone tried to steal my neighbor's bike from his front yard that night by cutting the lock (two blocks north of Ethiopic). Luckily I saw him, ran to the front door, asked him what he was doing and he promptly ran away to the north.

Gotta love punk thieves...

This never would have happened upstairs at Meskerem.
No chairs!

Speaking of Meskerem, can Ethiopic please start serving lamb zilbo? I've tried Ethiopian food all over the city but no other place aside from Meskerem offers it.I love Ethiopic food, but lamb zilbo would be a great addition and would save me a 20 minute drive to Adams Morgan.
