Comm Hooper Steps Down as Vice Chair of ANC 5B

It was reported last night by @9NewsDelia that Commissioner David Hooper of ANC 5B had resigned. I recently got clarification that Hooper has not resigned his ANC position, but has merely stepped down as Vice Chair. The current Chair of ANC 5B, William Shelton, is under investigation for misappropriating $27,000 in public ANC funds. If Shelton had stepped down Hooper would have been first in line to replace him. It appears Hooper didn't quite want to do that due to his "busy and demanding schedule."
