Joseph H. Cole Park Now Officially Open
The new park on the former site of the Joseph H. Cole Recreation Center has finally opened, and it looks terrific. There's a small field for soccer or other sports, and nice playground, and plenty of green space to run around, or just relax. The park is located on the north side of the 1200 block of Morse Street, in Trinidad.

I almost cried from joy when I looked over to see a group of pre-teens and teens playing a self-organized game of touch football on the field!
Let's work together to keep the park safe and clean.

Yay!! I plan on using teh walking track too!!
I am disappointed to see an artificial turf field!
The park is almost open, it's open to the school but per my last tweet, DPR is still working out it's regular access with the DC Department of General Services. Gates remain locked.
