Seeking Parking Space or a Garage Near 12th & H
A reader writes in seeking to rent a parking space (or a spot in a garage) near 12th and H Street. He said he's looked for listings, but can't find anything close by. Does anyone have a space for rent, or know of one? If not, any advice on where the best place is to find such a listing? You can email Matt at matt.swift3030[at]gmail.com with any leads.

He asked for 12th and H, but maybe 5th and M (11 blocks away) is close enough for government work?
Closer to the metro to park his out of state plates.
Just pay the $250 temp tag fee at DMV and keep the out of state plates, if the car is nice, you can keep looking for a garage and just have your insurance cover it if/when something happens. Best of luck, though, garage parking is a great amenity!
There's free parking 3 blocks up on Montello and Morse. Seriously, I'd rent my space but that would be kinda douchie because the street parking is free.

nothing douchey about trying to avoid broken windows and other types of random vandalism to your car. Happens around here and usually comes in spurts.
There's plenty of street parking. Park on the street idiot.
