DC Knots Comes to Sova

A reader alerted me that she has started a new knitting (and crochet) group called DC Knots. DC Knots meets at Sova every Wednesday night from 7-9pm. The group is a mix of neighborhood people, and knitters from all around the DC area. She wanted to reach out and make sure that any local knitters, or aspiring knitters, heard about the weekly get togethers. So far, they've had a nice turn out- -a mix of locals and folks from larger metro area.

Inked, where are all the scrap booking meet ups? I need something for my sister in law, for when she journeys up here from north Carolina. Oh, and is theRe a pottery making class somewhere on Friday evenings fours non-hipsters?

Wow - you can't do anything nowadays without being labeled (or criticized for being) a hipster. I'm pretty sure that knitting was around long before the term "hipster" entered the DC lexicon.

This looks like a great group, and I don't really care if it is lesbian-friendly or founded by a hipster. :). Good luck!

Wow, I can't knit but it sounds really good I wish I could learn.
