FreeFest Comes to Gallaudet 3/31

Gallaudet University and Quest Visual Theatre present a day of open air performances and fun activities for all ages. Join Gallaudet students in creating a giant chalk mural, twirl and twist fabric with Quest's Wings Company, get your face painted, and much more. They'll have a craft market for you to shop, and some of your favorite food trucks will be there. It sounds like a great time, and admission, performances, and activities, are all free.

FreeFest will feature some top notch visual theatre performances. Two groups from Catalonia, Spain -Los Caneca and Chez Leandre, will perfor, as will Washington area company Happenstance Theatre. Happenstance will perform "Plunkett and Tremolo." You can even learn stilt walking with the Nana Project. Catch some tomfoolery with Drew the Dramatic Fool, or enjoy a performance by Pittsburgh based Dan Kamin of his acclaimed Mr. Slo-Mo.

The fun takes Saturday March 31st, from 10am-5pm on Gallaudet's campus (800 Florida Ave). FreeFest is part the four week long QuestFest, which is an international visual theatre festival put on by Quest Visual Theatre. It will feature over performances in the DC/Baltimore region. It runs from March 10th through April 8th.
