CP: Mother Rucker's Subs Coming to Bladensburg Road

The City Paper reports that Mother Rucker's Subs is taking over the old Sullivan's spot at 1101 Bladensburg Road (Carver Terrace). They will offer roughly 20 deli meat subs for under $7. The owner has a local connection in that she previously worked with Langston Grille's (link plays music, 1831 Benning Road) food truck.

I miss the crabcake from Sullivan's but hope this is a good replacement.

Great news. The price is right for the area. I wish them luck.

Does anyone know where Sullivans moved to? I miss their crab cakes =(

Sullivan's crab cakes were a scam. They proudly advertised that their crab cakes had no fillers only to find generous bits of shrimp meat in them.

I miss those shrimpy crabcakes so much, although the fried crab balls at Jimmy's Grill over in Maine Avenue fish market are my new favorite.
