WP: Man Guilty in 2010 Florida Market Double Murder

The Post reports that Christian Taylor, 27, has been found guilty in the slayings of father and son shopkeepers in the Florida Market just over two years ago during a botched robbery. He is set to be sentenced in August, and could face life in prison.

If only he could be put to death. An eye for an eye might make us all blind, but it also makes us feel good to put a worthless animal down.

I'd rather see him rot in prison. Giving him the chair is too easy a way out.

Am I the only person that watches "Lockup" on MSNBC? These animals dont rot in prison, theyre given three square meals a day, they are able to watch TV, read books, have work out/recreational time etc. That is the "punishment" they are given. And all on the taxpayers dime. $47,000 per year per inmate. Yes, there are risks of prison violence, but that is the LEAST they deserve. The world would be much better place without worthless garbage like Christian Taylor. I say hang him publicly. Cheap, quick and effective.

Can we please stop using the terms "botched robbery" or "senseless crime," please? No one can know the perpetrators' state of mind or intention. When someone is murdered in the course of an ARMED robbery, it is more likely a thrill kill or an intentional, premeditated murder, where the money is just the icing on the cake.

Please do not speculate, or give the murderers the benefit of the doubt. Leave that to the mainstream media and politicians.
