H Street, The Sitcom

Remember a while back when we discussed a casting call for a sitcom about H Street? Well, they've wrapped up shooting and submitted the finished product to some festivals. Hopefully we'll be able to see the full thing soon, but here's a short trailer for now. One note, it's apparently a sitcom within a sitcom, but I get the feeling that idea probably is more clear in the full length version. Read more about it here.

I like it! If the stupid gigantic cock wasn't there, they could have a screening on the side of Smith Common!

Or, they could just drop a sheet over part of the mural?

The set-up at the beginning made me think this was a horror movie. I kept waiting for the Blair Witch to show up. Color me confused.

This looks terrible, especially if this is a trailer with the "best parts".

Video looks good, audio quality is horrible. Content quality TBD, but agree that it's not looking great if the trailer is supposed to feature the best highlights.

Everybody's a film critic these days.

Congrats for actually finishing a video not just watching movies, tv shows and talking about making a short someday.

@Fatty: Anon 10:07 here. I've produced live TV, a one-hour documentary, TV news, any now freelance in video production with several stations as clients.

Like I said, the video seems good, but the audio is horrible and the trailer doesn't sell it.

I'm not a "film critic," but I do know good production values ahd what I'd like to watch, and this ain't it. It may attract a local H street audience, but probably not much more in its current form.

Tried to turn on the captioning but it wasn't transcribed well so it came out all weird.

#captionTHIS, guys?

Would love to watch local films.
