Local (sometimes satirical) blog Titan of Trinidad drew my attention to a post on the Facebook page of the Trinidad Neighborhood Association. The poster offered to organize a local bocce league if there were sufficient interest in one:
Would there be any interest in a Bocce league... there is a lot of ground over by rec center to play? I'd be happy to organize
I know that we already have some players in the neighborhood. Might others be interested in this?

I wish the Titan blog would choose to either be satirical or serious. I don't think it works when he tries to be onion-ish and then flips to breaking news or leads. Just my opinion

I think it's more fun- if you're smart, it's pretty obvious to see when he's poking fun at PoP, neighborhood misconceptions, etc.

I think this photo was taken in London. You should think about getting out more often. Maybe see about getting a passport. See the world a bit. You may find you become less bitter and provincial.

News flash: there are also insufferable hipsters in Europe.

When you're forced to define a term so broadly as to completely eliminate its meaning, you may wish to reexamine your argument.

or they could, um, revisit their definition. Would be simpler and more gratifying. That's assuming of course that your statement makes any sense to begin with.

But hey, any chance to make yourself sound like a pretentious pseudo-intellectual clown should be seized upon; it's the Oboe way.

Lot's of good stuff here. Thanks for your valuable contribution!
