Ugh. I wish they'd installed their surveillance video system in such a way as to enable seeing useful information like license plates of cars that pull up to pumps.

Man I really hope they catch these guys, but I'm doubt they will.

"I'm doubt"? I doubt. I need some sleep.

These guys traveled back in time from a beating on August 18th to a gas station on August 17th where they attempted to use the credit card they stole from the victim. I think the police may need to check their math. Assuming

Maybe the date/timestamp on the video is off by a few hours. That happens.

Any update on finding the people that shot the guy in the face at 13th and G, or the Grace Deli murder?

Nope. No news. Tommy couldn't even bother to go through the motion to stage another community meeting starring the police chief about them. I guess the dog and pony show are becoming a tough sell to the Northeast folk. Too many times of all talk with no action.
Hats off to Moms on the Hill though for keeping the pressure on in the Maslin case. I just hope that they dont expect real results.

I'm sure they know this, but the car is a Hyundai XG350.

I am fairly certain that is a 2003 Hyundai Sonata. How many Silver 2003 Hyundai Sonata's are registered in DC or MD?

definitely a sonata.

Unfortunately, figuring out the license plate would probably only lead to stolen vehicle report in the days preceding the attack. My car was stolen in May and then used in a string of robberies. None of these animals own cars, they just see other people's possessions as things for them to take.

Police File Search Warrant in Killed Deli Owner Case

"Police have filed a search warrant in the case of H Street Northeast deli owner June Lim who was killed in June.

There may be a break in the case -- police say DNA evidence from the scene matched a man in their system.

A robbery appears to have been the reason Lim was killed as she opened her shop early in the morning on June 14."
