A reviewer at DC Metro Theater Arts thinks you really should catch Scena's darkly comic production Mein Kampf. Catch it at the H Street Street Playhouse (1365 H Street) through August 19th. Tickets are available online.

When Steven A. Crockett Jr. of The Root DC (via the Washington Post) suggests that some U Street NW restaurants are "swagger-jacking" African American cultural history Washington City Paper's Alex Baca responds. Though the discussion is loosely about U Street NW, it's really a look at larger changes throughout DC.

Speaking of H Street restaurants, Dining in DC has a nice write up of H &pizza (1118 H Street).

Did anybody frequent Tru Orleans? I've been meaning to check it out but the reviews were so awful it was never high on my list.
