In the video above local chefs discuss the food scene on H Street
Krautrocks is a quirky month-long gastronomical experience centered around sauerkraut. It's organized by Top Chef Alum Spike Mendelsohn, and features a team of young area chefs. As it turns out, three of those chefs are located right here on H Street.
Erik Bruner-Yang of Toki Underground, Teddy Folkman of Granville Moore's, and Ian Reeves of the Queen Vic are the kraut experimenters. Check out their recipes here, or sample them in each chef's respective restaurant. Another Kraut Rocks video follows after the jump.
