FRESHFARM Market Pop-Up at Union Market

FRESHFARM Market (the people behind the H Street farmers market held at 13th and Florida every Saturday) will have a pop-up stand at the new Union Market (1309 5th St NE). The pop-up will accept cash, credit cards, and SNAP (EBT/food stamps). 

More info: Drawing from the bounty of its markets, FRESHFARM Markets will be filling a farm stand pop-up with limited quantities of seasonal fruits and vegetables as well as specialty prepared food items. Products and artisanal foods from FRESHFARM Markets family of farmers & producers including Toigo Orchards and Spring Valley Farm and Orchard will be sold at this one-time pop-up.

10am-6pm Saturday and Sunday.

Since they're having a tough time getting vendors, why doesn't Union Market just let FreshFarm run it as a real farmer's market?
