Green Hat Gin Happy Hour 10/17 at Boundary Road

FB_TWTR_ICON

Boundary Road is teaming up with the makers of Green Hat Gin to celebrate the launch of DC's first legally distilled liquor. Distilled a mile and a half from Boundary Road (1832 Fenwick St. NE, up in Ivy City), Green Hat is a deliciously smooth, citrusy gin, produced in small batches in a copper pot still. The crew from Boundary Road has put together a special cocktail menu for the night, and the distiller will be on hand to chat, answer any questions, and sip a drink or two with patrons.

5-8pm at Boundary Road. 414 H St

Beautiful food! Both Obama and me have good taste!

Had my first Boundary Road experience last night. Chef Brad Walker is outlet neighbor, but I can assure you I am not biased at all. We both own a Dashshund mix. Ok go back to the food. I eat out alot anyway, so why not try our neighbors new restaurant, since Obama has tried it, I figure so should I. The menu is simple and creative. The ingredients are fresh, the service is friendly (or may be because one is us dropped the fact that our neighbor is Brad Walker, teehee). The wine list is somewhat small but ok.

I'm beginning to think that there is no meaningful end to the amount of alcohol DC can consume.

The neighborhood around Boundary Road is very nice. I really like nicer West End of H Street.

Which rots the brain faster, gin or syphillis?
