Healthy Motions Closed

If you follow Frozen Tropics on Twitter you may remember an early December mention of the impending closing, but it's now happened. Here's their press release:

Healthy Motions®  Massage Therapy studio is closed.  We have been privileged to offer massage to the Capitol Hill and greater DC community for over ten years, and are grateful that so many people entrusted their wellness to us.  Kevin and Granetta have decided to move back into the corporate sector.

If you are a Healthy Motions gift certificate or Bloomspot holder, please email us with your certificate/voucher number prior to the expiration of your certificate/voucher and we will issue you a refund.

If you are looking for massage services in the neighborhood, please consider these wonderful massage therapists:

Wan Lee (DC MT  23) at 5th & H Streets NE :  202-543-0839 or

Laura Casperson (DC MT 777) in Trinidad NE:  344-5753 or schedule at lcmt.genbook.com

Thanks Inked, we will miss serving the community here as massage therapists, but we continue to live and breathe here as involved parents and participants in everything going on here. We appreciate everyone's support over the years. Kudos to Inked for continuing to support local businesses here.

Peace Y'all

p.s. check the link for laura casperson, @ is spelled as 'at', so the link doesn't work.

Good luck with your future endeavors. Thanks for the heads up on the link. It should work now. Laura is a friend of mine, and I agree that she's pretty awesome.

Thanks to Granetta, Kevin and Inked for the kind words.

I'll take $20 off for first time clients who book online at www.lcmt.genbook.com and mention our fine neighbors:-)

Looking forward to keeping NE healthy!
