Apparently the FLEX show at the Flats at Atlas is growing. You can see works by 34 different artists. Here's more info about FLEX:
FLEX is pleased to present the first of an exciting series of temporary exhibitions, which will occur for one night on Saturday April 27th from 7-10pm. The exhibition will be housed in several spaces in and around the Flats at Atlas (1600 Maryland Ave NE), and will include sculpture, painting, performance and video works by a diverse group of local artists. Intentionally enigmatic, the works presented are aligned by their persistent questioning of the viewers’ assumptions. The majority of the works will be displayed indoors in a raw street-level space, while videos projections and kinetic sculpture will be displayed outdoors, and performances will take place in the Atlas Flats lobby/basketball court throughout the evening. The launch of FLEX promises to be an energetic mind-meld of local artists and curators working outside of a specific gallery structure, which will continue to morph into new forms and inhabit new spaces in the future.
