MPD Makes Arrest in Sexual Assault of Juvenile Female

Umm, I somehow missed that MPD had issued an alert (did they?) about a juvenile female being grabbed and sexually assaulted in our area. Anyway, a suspect has been arrested before we even knew it happened. Awesome if the cops picked him up right away. But WOW, this young woman was grabbed and sexually assaulted by a stranger. I'm hoping that the only reason we didn't hear about it was that they arrested him very quickly. Otherwise, WTF? I hope this young woman is ok. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers.

I initially read about the arrest and thought this was related to the sexual assault on 7th and H NW in China town where a girl was dragged into the alley. But this is 7th and h NE??? Wow... haven't heard anything about that.

Thank God that witness intervened. Whoever that person is, he or she is a hero. I hope much good fortune comes their way for performing this heroic act.

Props to the cops for finishing the job with the arrest. Hope this perp gets some psychiatric help and is off the streets for a long time.
