Our committee of volunteers is busy getting ready for our 2nd annual Taste of H Auction for JO Wilson on Sunday, October 13th, 2013 from 5pm to 9pm at the Atlas Performing Arts Center (1333 H Street).
The auction is a food tasting of local restaurants, wine, jazz and a live and silent auction, with all proceeds going to Ward 6's own J.O. Wilson Elementary, a title 1 school.
Like last year, Tommy Wells will be master of ceremonies and Kaya Henderson will be in attendance.
Enjoy a food tasting from some of the best restaurants on H Street, as they delight your palate with items from their diverse and delicious menus. Indulge in some wine or beer, while listening to live music and bidding on amazing items in our silent auction.
Our live auction will kick off at 8:00 p.m. with auctioneer. In both auctions, bid on anything from a stay at a fabulous B&B in Pennsylvania to tantalizing desserts, a flat screen TV or box seats at a Wizards game ... and much much more!
Tickets are $35 a person. This will be an adult only evening.
