Looking for a new fitness challenge? Give Old City CrossFit a look. They open Monday at 810 H Street. Announcement after the jump.

Old Cityzens,

Yup!  You read that Subject line correctly - we're opening doors this Monday, October 28th!  It's officially time to get excited.  For those of you who have been with us for every delay, I'm sure you thought this day would never come!  But alas, it is here!

We went ahead and added a 5am and 4pm class to our schedule so the complete schedule is as follows:  M-F - 5, 6, 7, 9:30 am, 12, 4, 5, 6, 7pm; Sat - Open Gym from 9-11am; Free Intro to CrossFit workout Sat at 11am.

With the opening comes a couple admin details.  Attached is a waiver that must be filled out prior to working out.  If you filled it out at our "Yay!  We passed our electrical inspection" party, then you don't need to fill it out again.  We'll have copies at the gym, but if possible, please print and fill it out before your first class.  We're also planning on setting up auto-billing for every month on the 28th of that month.

As you can tell by our schedule, we're running a bunch of back-to-back classes.  Logistically it will be a lot easier to come and go through the back door that leads to the ally.  There is a small carriage house in the back that will have cubby holes, a place to store bikes, and is the best place to hang out before and after workouts to prevent interference with the next class.

Let me know if you have any questions or comments!  It's finally here.  Get ready!

Take care,
Erin and Sean

The web site doesn't bother giving the price of membership or a class. Why the big mystery???

http://www.oldcitycrossfit.com/get-started/

it's 215 for unlimited monthly or 195 for 3x a week

and 20 for a drop in

I'm curious about the coaches' training or specific crossfit experience besides level 1 cert.

any pictures of the finished space?

Checked it out last night, have never done CrossFit before, gotta say, it was a pretty good workout and seemed reasonable for an person in moderate shape.
