The link to the GOG story is missing, is supposed to go here. I really like the cozy atmosphere there. "Max Capacity 49 People" is a stretch, that number probably includes the downstairs open area where you can't see the bands. So if you want to see the act playing there get there early.
And since this wouldn't be FT without some griping, there's no reason to have that bland a beer lineup in a bar in DC in 2014, especially since nothing's on tap. None. I'm not saying they need Pumpkin Spice Chocolate Jojoba Stout on tap, but a good drinkable non-macro brew (Bells, Port City, Great lakes, Founders) would be a huge improvement.
MJ, Thanks! I fixed the link. I've been off my game a bit recently partly due to a sick cat who I had to euthanize this morning. BTW, thanks to Atlas Vet for being amazing to Diesel in her final days. They truly went above & beyond to help her.
I've chatted with the owners of Treehouse Lounge a bit, & they are open to suggestions about the beer list. I suggested that they maybe try some local beers. What beers would people like to see them offer? I bet they would listen if we made a list.
Tell him he should start carrying Alchemist Heady Topper! If it were me, I'd add 2 beers- an easy drinking microbrew IPA or lager (Bells' 2 Hearted, Great Lakes Dortmunder Gold, Clipper City Loose Cannon, Mendocino Red Tail Ale, etc...) and an interesting local offering- Port City Porter or one of the new DC breweries' offerings.
