This is exciting! Odd space for it, but we really need to start seeing stuff like this on H

Little Miss Whiskey's is certainly gay-friendly, and so is Jimmy Valentine's- really a lot of places on H. I'd so much rather be welcome anywhere than hole up in a gay bar or even a gay night.

i sort of agree with the person hiding behind the "anonymous" identity.

but i also understand that every group deserves its own special little get together, or something.

everyone but skinheads and door to door salespeople, that is.

Yes everyone is special and a unique little snowflake, everyone should get a gold star! We all deserve our own day at a bar just for us. You haters who think I do not deserve a special day can kick rocks!

I like all inclusive places, but it's still good when you're looking to find people to date and being able to go somewhere you know is gay friendly and know many people there will be gay... so you aren't hitting on a bunch of straight people. Why is this so hard to understand? As a straight person you can walk into many bars and have this be the reality...

i almost feel bad admitting it, but yeah, i'm straight. even so, it's not really that big of a reality for me, but that's only because i don't cruise bars hitting on ANYBODY, really. AND, the last time i did, and this is no lie, the individual was not into my gender.

bad luck, i suppose. but hey, i dig that it would be nice to be in a place where everyone knows "what's up" ... on a variety of levels.

i'm not trying to argue, i'm just sayin'

it's only for 2 hours on 2 nights. what's the big deal?
unlike a certain segment of DC's and of our community, gays bring $$ into the neighborhood, they tip, and they don't mess up property, nor do they attack people. i think they should be welcomed to have a fabulous time

gay bars are just way more fun to me in general. Not sure if it's the clientele, the music or the vibes but it draws a diff crowd in general, whether gay, straight or in-between...
