A Few Trinidad Fireworks Shots

DSC_0822
I didn't have my camera for most of the evening, but I did manage to capture a few images from the back alley before I turned in for the night.

The unfortunate thing is they are still going off today. Last night in my alley they were still sending them off. It went on for hours yesterday/early this AM. Not sure if it's something to cherish or have distain. Just learned a STGP At Large candidate was in Trinidad yesterday campaigning. I wonder what he thought of all the "working people's" money quite literally going up in smoke voluntarily. Trinidad is still a mixed bag. There is a nice middle of people that mix well and get along, but there are polls that want nothing to do with each other. Independence day is one of the holiday's that amplifies the delta in the Trinidad neighborhood. That diversity will soon all go up in smoke. And after the smoke clears Trinidad will look radically different as if it was as planned as the grand finally of the fireworks on the Mall.
