"Circus at the O" has grown from a successful collaboration among Gallery O on H (1354 H Street), Cirque du Rouge Tattoo (416 H Street) and Palace Productions. It began as the one time event Snake Oil, Holy Water and Sweet Tea art exhibit and variety show, but has become a series of multimedia shows including a themed art exhibit.
The collaborators return with their second installment of "Circus at the O," a circus series featuring an original circus themed art exhibit, a variety show with sideshow, magic, burlesque, and more. Adding to the atmosphere are the sounds and sights of vaudeville era gone by in the form of movie clips and DJ sounds.
Step right up to the circus under the stars! Circus at the O is a show like no other. Big top talent with visual treats and dazzling feats...outdoors!! This isn't any ordinary variety show. This is an experience! You will witness pain defying SIDESHOW acts, eye popping CONTORTION, dazzling BURLESQUE beauties, astonishing MAGIC. BUT WAIT! This CIRCUS AT THE O!! also features a circus themed art exhibit starting at 8pm.
