Isn't Wagtime a kill shelter?

Actually, Wagtime is not a shelter at all. They are a for-profit business that offers daycare, boarding, and grooming services for pet owners. They also help local non-profits by fostering dogs. It appears that two of the organizations with whom they currently work do not even have shelter facilities but instead rely on volunteer fosterers to remove dogs from shelters with high kill rates and give them a chance at adoption. So Wagtime is actually helping more dogs escape from euthanization and certainly is not a high kill shelter itself.

Wagtime has had a lot of complaints from former customers. We had a bad experience when they dropped our dog off at home while we were on vacation (the dog was supposed to stay there for another 3 days until we got back).

Luckily a neighbor heard the dog barking and saved him from potential starvation.

The owners were unapologetic and took 2 days to even respond because they were busy with a conference. That was the last time we used their services, after 2 years of daily day care.

He's cute. Will he be available for adoption if no one comes forward?

11:17,
I would suggest contacting Wagtime to see what they plan to do.
