Is XII still closed?

closing 12 is not going to stop stabbings in the neighborhood committed by BMs leaving on foot

Unless they were leaving XII

It has been a VERY long time since I've seen 2am, but I remember that nothing good was either happening or was going to happen around that time of day/night.

Be safe out there (and aware of your surroundings).

7:29,
Unfortunately, the press release I pasted above is the only information that seems to be officially out there.

anyone got the gouge on what happened?
Was this a domestic thing?
Was this a known assailant?
Is this a serial assailant?

Pat,
Based on the press release, it sounds like the victim does not know the identity of her attacker. I'm assuming the would release a sketch of him if at all feasible.

there's potential for more widespread sexual assault going on every weekend night right outside bars.

anyone ever notice young males just loitering around outside bars. not smoking. not even patrons of establishments. but just loitering around. for the most part i see only verbal harassment of women, and some touching of women's shoulders after they pass by the monkey males, and I seen a few blatant ass grabbing. it's nowhere near the amount of blatant sexual assault on Adams Morgan weekend nights. i don't want it to go there cause I am not going to tolerate it
