I'm still recovering from last night's ANC 5D meeting (you can read my tweets from that meeting by searching the hashtag #ANC5D), so please busy yourselves by reading these articles on Fare Well, the vegan restaurant set to open later this year (406 H Street) from Trinidad resident and Sticky Fingers owner Doron Petersan.

This should be a good addition to H Street for Vegans and all concerned. As someone with a sodium issue Do any of you know if any of the places offer things that don't have salt. I know most of the faster paced places are a wash. I think sushi at the Sushi places maybe. In any event I hope this goes well.

@ Robby. maybe Sol. Liberty Tree always has some seafood options. For items that are made to order, wherever you go, you can always ask to skip the salt and ask if salt is already in what is prepped. if server can't find out what's in the food, go somewhere else.

for home, I like to boil a big pot of dry legumes unsalted, unseasoned, and mix it with different carbs. it isn't delicious, but it's palatable.

Thank you so much, as I hit my mid 30s health issues abound. I'm the age now where medical doctors told me my life expectancy was was due to another health issue unrelated to salt. So now that I'm on borrowed time It is good to know of choices.
