MPD Seeks Info in 6/28 Homicide in 1600 Block of E Street



MPD has released the above video and is actively seeking people, and a vehicle, of interest regarding a June 28th homicide in the 1600 block of E Street.

Persons and Vehicle of Interest Sought in Homicide:
1600 block of E  Street, Northeast

(Washington, DC) - The Metropolitan Police Department is seeking the public's assistance in identifying and locating multiple persons of interest and a vehicle of interest in connection with a homicide, which occurred on Sunday, June 28, 2015, at approximately 5:07 pm, in the 1600 block of E Street, Northeast.

i can't tell from the vid, but are they aiming and shooting in multiple directions?

what, has nobody at MPD been trained on video processing?

they have enough frames they should be able to over-sample, de-jitter and run a diff
and sort out the plate.

You should be able to figure it out, it looks like a MD tag, so, start with that, and run sample reverse sampling
to figure out the noise spectra that gives you the header and tail...

I'm not a video analyst and I think I know how i'd crack it.

Wow, this video is insane. There's an MPD camera right there and they have no issues driving down the street and shooting up the whole block. That area 16th & E/Isherwood is really awful.

Also, this is the quality of video that the cameras record? Ridiculous.

thus no motive in that homicide. guy was just walking on the wrong block at the wrong time.
